Homecoming 2013 - Welcome Home

My Dear and Beloved Sisters and Brothers, Welcome Home!
We welcome Rev. Dr. Sedgwick V. Easley and the choir from Union Baptist Church, Hempstead, New York. We are thrilled you are here! The Homecoming Committee has been planning for your arrival.
Our church theme this year is, “God is at Work and so are We!” The evidence is all around us. God is continuing to draw new members and to encourage others who have been away to come home.
As a family, we decided to renovate the kitchen. The work began in May and as of today, all the repairs have been completed and we do not owe any outstanding balance for repairs.
We hope you will be encouraged to dream with us and support us through your prayers and financial giving. There is still much to do. God is at work and so are we!
Our worship ministry has grown under the leadership of Mrs. Rosalind Knight. We have welcomed Brother Warren Atiba Taylor as an additional Minister of Music. Brother Anthony Burton and the Men’s Movement Choir have been a blessing to us through the ministry of praise dance and American Sign Language. We continue to give thanks to God for the Women’s Praise Dance Ministry – Expressions of Praise!
We Are Antioch! We’ve also incorporated the Village Academy which is an academic resource for youth and adults interested in strengthening their skills and abilities in Math, Science, History, Accounting and many other disciplines.
There is so much more I could say about the awesome children and Youth Ministry, as well as the Missionaries and the Men Ministry who hosted Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. for Men’s Day 2013, but all I want you to know is that we love you. You can’t do anything about it!
